Brisbane Micro Excavations are your specialists in tight narrow and limited access earthmoving.
Our compact excavation equipment is perfect for projects, where bringing in full-sized machinery is either impractical, impossible, or just too expensive. That’s where our specialised machinery and experienced operators excel in tackling difficult-to-reach areas and small confines even if it is through a standard doorway.
1 Ton Excavator
Our 1t excavator is the smaller of our machines. It has a minimum track width of 750mm which makes it capable of getting through a doorway. It can comfortably dig down to a depth of 1600mm without benching down to achieve a more depth. We have even dug swimming pools with this machine. The bucket sizes for this machine are 200mm, 300mm, 450mm, batter bucket and ripper. Other attachments for this machine are rock breaker, auger drive.
1.7 Ton Excavator
Our 1.7t excavator is the larger of our machines. It has a minimum track width of 950mm. It can dig down to a depth of 2200mm. The bucket sizes for this machine are 200mm, 300mm, 450mm, batter bucket and ripper. Other attachments for this machine are rock breaker, rock grab, auger drive, sleeper grab and stick rake.
Toyota Skid Steer Loader
Our loader (commonly called a bobcat) is 900mm wide with a 4in1 bucket. It is a very capable little machine for soil removal in tight spaces. It also has a spreader bar for soil levelling.
Cormidi Dumper
The C60 Cormidi dumper is 700mm wide and carries nearly ¼ of a cubic metre at a time. It is rated to 600kg. We have even barrowed wet concrete with it which works out cheaper than a concrete pump and easier than pushing a barrow.
Hino Tippers
Our Hino tippers carry 2m3 of soil or waste. They are very good for parking in narrow streets and sites where space is limited and parking is restricted.
Augers
We have 150mm, 200mm, 300mm, 350mm, 450mm, 500mm extension and 800mm extension.
